I am inspired by being awake, not in the physical sense but in the essence of seeing what life is right now - this is the work.

I grew up in Chicago in a large family- 5 brothers and sisters and parents who were 17 years apart. The house was chaotic, I remember having panic attacks and I would go into my older sister’s room and sift through her album collection in the crate. One after the other, the flipping motion would bring calm. My work and work ethic are this flipping action for me.

My work is not solely about what the final piece is but how it all came to be. The levels, the journey, the connection, being awake, falling asleep, and then reawakening, repeat again. Working is a way to see my life, ground again and again and again. This is my lifeline.
